Rick Baff is a results driven, entrepreneurial information technology executive with extensive experience leading teams to implement complex and enterprise-wide information technology solutions for the insurance, healthcare, wellness, mobile, and financial services markets.
Rick founded Pinpoint Solutions in 1994 and has consistently helped its clients leverage data and technologies to improve operating results. Rick has outstanding leadership, analytical, communication, planning, problem solving, management, financial and team building skills.
Prior to founding Pinpoint, Rick spent 10 years providing Product Management (application & information) for large market information vendors including Dow Jones Telerate, ADP Brokerage Information Services and Knight Ridder Financial Information Services. Product management experience included real-time and historical (Exchange & non-exchange traded) pricing, news, analytics, commentary, trading room platforms, digital data feeds, technical analysis and proprietary trading algorithmic applications for the equity, fixed income, foreign exchange and commodity markets.
Rick holds an MBA in Investment Finance from The Columbia University Graduate School of Business, an MPA in Energy Economics and Policy from The New York University Wagner School of Public Service, and a BA in International Relations from Lehigh University.
